Luxurious manuscript. Almost clean margins: few corrections, and announcement of names and topics discussed in the main text. Completion of the main text in the margins. Ornate frontispiece executed in gold, blue, white, and red: the upper band has a cartouche which contains the volume number and part of the title of the book, a central white rosette contains the rest of the book’s title and the author’s name. There is also a medallion next to the upper cartouche. The quire numbers are written on the upper left side of the recto folios. Not extensive use of the margins: commentary notes and corrections. The topics/names discussed in the main text are highlighted in the margins. The manuscript ends with a list of the rulers mentioned in this volume. The short title is written on the edge of the book. The first folio has the date: 18 Jan. 1873 in French.
