Not extensive use of the margins: few commentary notes, and announcements of the topics discussed in the main text. Sometimes, the main text is completed in the margins. Reading note of a certain Ghars al-Dīn (f.238b). The main text ends on f.236b. There is an added part at the end of the work (f.236b-f.238b) which the copyist says that he found it in the original manuscript, in which it describes a mufākhara between pomegranate seeds and rice on a table before they got both eaten. The first flyleaf has the date: 22 Jan. 1876 written on it in French.
