Manuscript description
Information obtained from the library's website. Digital image available. Partially vocalized. Many lines are not legible due to water stains. There are discrepancies in numbering the first two folios, while the rest are numbered in Latin and indo-Arabic numerals. Papers are trimmed. Few correction notes. Sometimes the main text is completed in the margins. Volume 2 ends on f.113a followed by passages which the copyist found on the author's autograph Dealing with topics such as: “1- the Arab tribes in Beirut and Umarāʾ al-Gharb. 2- Various news about Yemen (e.g. dawlat banī ziyād and ʿAlī b. Mahdī) 3- al-Sulṭān Muḥammad b. Ṭughluq 4- Discussing the city of Badhakshān and bilād al-bulghār (f.113a-f.116a). The second part ends on f.161. The third part starts on f.161b (starts with Dhikr al-Jawāmiʿ al-Jāmiʿa and ends abruptly on Dhikr al-maḥārib allatībi-diyār miṣr) (f.169b). The rest of the manuscript is bound separately (under the same call number https://brbl-dl.library.yale.edu/vufind/Record/4690725).
