Manuscript description
Info obtained from the Library of Fatih's catalog, the Sulaymaniyya's database (on-site), and a digitized colored copy of the manuscript. The folio f.1a has an illuminated rectangular panel executed in blue and brown which has an upper cartouche that contains the title of the book, a central (turban-like) rosette which contains the library’s name of Yashbak al-Dawadār al-Ashrafī al-Sayfī, and a lower cartouche which has the author's name. The library's catalog says that it is the 7th volume. However, someone added that it is the sixth volume in pencil in the colophon. Fully vocalized manuscript. Clean margins. Sometimes, the main text is completed in the margins.
