Information obtained from the library's website. No digital image available! There is. on title page, a short biography of the author (Ibn Quṭlūbughā), a short biography of another Ḥanafī scholar ''al-Shaykh Zayn b. Nujaym'' (Ibn Nujaym, Zayn al-Dīn ibn Ibrāhīm, died 1563), and the dates of birth and death of al-Shaykh ʻAlī al-Maqdisī (probably ʻAlī ibn Ghānim al- Maqdisī, 1514-1596), in different hands. On the last leaf (folio 39b) several folkloric medicinal recipes. Some notes and corrections on the margins. The first leaf is torn and repaired with no loss of text.

On folio f.1a an ownership statement: ''Dakhal fī milk al-faqīr ilayhi Ḥasan Ṭāhā al-Dāwūdī al-Dījānī, ʻafá Allāh ʻanhu fī 7 Ṣafar sanat 1290 [6 April, 1873]''. Purchased from Worldwide Antiquarian on the Edwin J. Beinecke Book Fund, 2005.

Translation of the colophon: ''This blessed book is completed by the praise of God, may He be exalted and glorified. May prayer be upon His Messenger, the Illiterate Prophet, and upon his family and all his companions. Copied by the poorest and the neediest to his Lord on the Day of Judgement, the day when livers thirst, the poor Zakarīyā b. Ṣāliḥ b. Yaḥyā al-Dayrī al-Ḥanafī al-ʿAbsī al-Khālidī, may God forgive him, his parents and all Muslims. May God also forgive those who read this book and implore Him to forgive him [the copyist]. Amen. Dated 6 Rabīʿ al-Thānī of the year 1037 AH [15 December, 1627 CE], may it bring good tidings.''
