An Autograph of al-Maqrīzī. Many folios were left blank (or with large spaces) to be filled later, and many pieces of paper were inserted between the pages(some of these pieces of paper are more modern than the original work). Many comments and notes in the margins (very extensive use of the margins). The first 2-5 folios contain a hadith collection written by Ibn Qaṭrāl. This volume starts with Ijāzat or reading notes (not clear for which work but probably for Ibn Qaṭrāl's work). Many additions and notes are written by Ibn Ḥajar al-ʻAsqalānī. Also, by Aḥmad al-Futūḥī al-Ḥanbalī [who might actually be Ibn al-Najjār al-Futūḥī (d.1564)] identified himself as the owner of the book in the first folio. There is a wrong title (written by a non-native speaker) on the first page which says ''Ṭabaqāt Muṭarrezī'' (written in Latin ''Motharrezii Thabacat''). There is (perhaps) an ownership statement of Muḥammad al-Fayyūmī (d.913 AH). The first entry starts with the name ''Ibrāhīm''.
