al-Nujūm al-Zāhira fī Mulūk Miṣr wa-l-Qāhira

The name l-Manṣūr al-Imām Abū Jaʿfar al-Muntaṣir bi-Allah Amīr al-Muʾminīn is written twice on (f.1a). Another note says “al-sulṭān al-aʿẓam ẓill allāh fī-l-arḍ” (f.1a). Several wiped-out and unclear notes (f.1a). Several notes which contain words which have no meaning in Arabic, or Just random Arabic letters (f.1a). f.2a bears the work’s title and author’s name along with several praises for the author. F.2a has an invocation against bookworms “Yā Kabīkaj, Yā Kabīkaj, Yā Kabīkaj”. There is a prayer on f.194b written by al-faqīh/al-faqīr Masʿūd b. Masʿūd. There is a note on f.194 about the biography of Ibn Ḥajar in the book and his death in 833 AH. There is an index of the rulers mentioned in this volume written in the margins of the folio f.193b. F.1a has the date: 18 January 1873 written in French.
