Manuscript description
Naskh script. Very extensive use of the margins which have several commentary and correction notes. Sometimes, entire passages are crossed over and rewritten in the margins. Completion of the text in the margins. There are poetry and prayers in the folios f.1b and f.2a,b. The folio f.3b is written by the handwriting of al-Maqrizi. According to the library's catalog, it is probably from al-Maqrīzī's draft of his work ''al-Muqaffā al-Kabir'' and has been mistakenly collected with this manuscript.The first flyleaf has the date: 6 June 1873 written in Latin.
