Manuscript description
Digital copy consulted. Written within a two-line red frame. Some correction notes. The title page is missing, so the title has been added on the cover sheet where the author is also named in a pencil note. Several pages also contain a number of blank lines (even a number of full blank pages). Somewhat uncommonly, it seems the book was prepared with red rubrications and the main text was added in later, which results in the text sometimes not actually filling in the space foreseen.
- Ownership Statement
Cover sheet (f.1a) bears a stamp of “Maktabat [Maʿhad] Dimyāṭ” dated to 1934. THe folio f.1b has a similar but different stamp relating it to this library, but dated to 1936.

The colophon asserts that this is the first volume of the Khiṭaṭ and gives two dates in 1159 for the manuscript’s completion: a first, crossed out 25 Dhī l-Ḥijja (8 January 1747) and a second in the margin, changing the month to Rabīʿ al-Awwal (17 April 1746).
