Manuscript description
Very few correction notes. Many pages are written on different papers in the middle of the manuscript but probably they are written by the original copyist. An index of the subjects of the manuscript precedes the text. The author's name is written wrongly (by the hand of the copyist of the first 3 pages) in the title page as: Abū al-Maḥāsin Ḥassān b. ʿArabshāh. The copyist probably thought that the character of the narrator in the book, Ḥassān, is the author. There is a long prayer at p.1.

Ownership notes of: a certain (?) b. al-Sayyid Muḥammad ʿAlī b. Sulaymān Bik in (1138 AH) who states that he obtained this book by buying it (p.205), and ʿAbd Allah b. ʿUmar al-Ḥalabī.

Colophon of Aḥmad b. al-Shaykh Yūsuf b. al-Ḥāj Aḥamad b. Khalīl b. (ʿĪsā?) (al-Armnāzī?) who states that he finished writing it at 2 AM in the Wednesday of the 27th of Shaʿbān 1113 AH / January 27, 1702. he copyist apologised for any mistake in the text wrote two lines of poetry which says that he is not worried about committing mistakes since all human beings do.
