Manuscript description
Majmūʿa containing several works, of which the first 62 folio’s are Ibn Quṭlūbughā’s “Tāj al-Tarājim”, although the author is erroneously referred to as Qāsim Ibn Yaklūbughā on the title page. Margins contain: text content markers in red and black, correction notes, a number of lengthy marginal additions (extra biographies) and on the top of every verso of a folio (also on the flyleaf) a simple religious aphorism. The other texts in the majmūʿa are: a short text on seven ṭabaqāt and fuqahāʾ in general (64b-65b), additional biographies arranged in a way that suggests they were compiled unsystematically (f.66a-f.75b), a text written by Ibrāhīm b. Muḥammad b. al-Qarāfriyūnī (reading uncertain) in the madrasa of Shāh Zulfeh (?) Sulṭān Muḥammad Khān (f.76a-f.82a), various maṭālib, a text referred to as “Mukhtaṣar fī ʿilm al-munāẓara” dated to 1006/1598-9 (f.89b-f.97a), followed by various notes, among which some magical spells and amulets.
