Manuscript description
Margins contain: correction notes and additions (especially on 14a), some commentary notes, text section markers. No visible watermark. Elaborately decorated title page in blue, gold, and perhaps initially also red (faded). Title spread over top and bottom cartouches, author in a central rosette. Note at the top identifies the author as al-Maqrīḍī.
- Ownership Statement
Owernship notes on the title page include: a note dated to 1165 / 1751-2 by someone whose name ends on the Persianate “-Zadeh”, a note by Yaḥyā b. Muḥammad al-Malāḥ (?), and some others which are difficult to read.
