Manuscript description
Very extensive use of overlinings. Red dots around poetry hemistichs and at the end of sentences. Very few notes in the margins. On rare occasions, the main text continues in the margins. The last page is written by different handwriting (and only in Black ink). The author of the work finished writing it in Yawm ʿĀshūrāʾ (i.e. the 10th of Muḥarram) 812 AH, while this copy of the work is written in Tuesday the 14th of Ramaḍān 881 AH (in Mecca). The title page has a biography of the author copied from al-Sakhāwī's work al-Ḍawʾ al-Lāmiʿ.
