Rawḍat al-Manāẓir fī ʿIlm al-Awāʾil wa-l-Awākhir

Naskh script. Black ink (Titles and keywords are rubricated in red and sometimes in green). Dots and inverted commas around poetry hemistichs. F.1b has an ornate headpiece executed in gold, red and blue. There are various decorative elements around the frame, which was executed in Gold and green at the start of the manuscript, but then in blue, green, yellow, and crimson ink for the following folios. Ornate square titel-piece executed in blue and gold and the book’s title is written on the top, the author’s name in the middle, and the book’s catch-title in the bottom. Writing Surface 140x80 mm (the first two folios are framed by golden lines). Probably European papers ( but with no observable watermark). Almost clean margins: no comments and correction notes. In few instances, the text is completed in the margins. Numbering: foliated and paginated. Modern Binding. The edges of the codex are colored. No Colophon.
