Margins contain: few correction notes, few commentary notes, and announcements of the topics discussed in the main text. Sometimes, the sentences in the main text are completed in the margins. Folding of the sheets: Quarto. The title is written in pale red and black (in the shape of a descended triangle). There is a note on f.1a says that the number of folios of this manuscript is 336 (while it is 345 now). The title of the book is written on a paper glued to the fore-edge flap. The number 26 is written on the edges of the papers which seem like it is some sort of organizational scheme especially that f.1a has the same number followed by the words (Sīrā). The added folio f.ii has a note listing the names of the books which the unnamed person has bought from Sanaa in the year 1240 AH followed by probably their prices. The list includes the book of al-Durar al-Kāmina and the number (13 or 23) is written beneath it. The list also includes the books of: Riḍā ʿalā al-Shāfiya; Qiṭʿa min Ṭabaqāt Ibn Saʿd; Niṣf al-Bukhārī min al-Ākhir; Sharḥ al-Alfiyya; Fiqh Māliki; Tabṣīr al-Muntabih; Tadhkirat Abū Dāwūd; Ḥayāt al-Ḥyawān; and Badr al-Tamām.
