Dark brown leather decorated by small tools of central medallion and a frame, and decorated envelope flap tucked under the upper cover. There are two stubs in the inside of the covers which are brown leather decorated by vegetal shapes.
Manuscript description
Papers are slightly trimmed. Margins contain: few correction notes, completion of sentences in the margins, and consistent mentioning of “Buḥūr al-Shiʿr” (the meters of poetry) which the poetry written in. The last word of many lines are elongated and written upward diagonally, and over-lined. Sometimes, the comments are written in a zigzag shape. There is an invocation against book worms “Sāriq māriq ḥāriq iḥbis ḥayā yā kabīkaj yā kabīkaj” on an added paper at the beginning of the work. On the same paper, there is a note says that the number of folios of this work is 107 (while it is 111). The Catch-title is written on the edges of the work.

Colophon of Muḥammad b. Naṣrallah b. Ḥasan al-Ḥanafī, who copied it from a manuscript which was reviewed based on the author's autograph, dated 867 AH (f.111a).
