Manuscript description
The author’s name is not written anywhere in the manuscript, but the author (i.e. Ibn ʿArab Shāh ) refers to his work ''Tārīkh Tīmūr'' on f.168a. However, in Topkapi’s catalog, the book is attributed to “ Raḍiyy al-Dīn Muḥammad b. Aḥmad b. ʿAbdullah b. al-Ghazzī”. The main text is completed in the margins. Almost clean margins which contain few correction notes. Numbering: foliated in pencil and paginated by a black stamp both in indo-Arabic numbers. The folio f.236 has a calligraphy which reads “tajribat al-murakkab wa-l-qalam” followed by the unclear writing. The Catch-title is written on the edges of the work. The folio f.1a has an illuminated rectangular panel executed in gold and blue which has an upper cartouche that contains the title of the book Sīrat al-Sulṭān al-Shahīd al-Malik al-Ẓāhir Jaqmaq Raḥimahu Allah), and a central rosette (surrounded by four small flowers) which contains the library’s name
