ʿAjāʾib al-Maqdūr fī Nawāʾib Tīmūr

The folio f.1a has an illuminated rectangular panel executed in gold, red, brown, pink, and blue which has an upper cartouche that contains the title of the book, a central rosette which has Ex-libris of the library of (al-maqarr al-makhdūmī al-Qaḍāʾī al-Kamālī) Muḥammad (sibṭ al-marḥūm shaykh al-Islām) Burhān al-Dīn al-Bāʿūnī al-Shāfiʿī (surrounded by four small medallions) , a lower cartouche which has the author’s name (f.1a). Next to the authors name, someone added in black ink the words “raḥmahu allah taʿālā”. The Kurras number is written on the top left side of the recto side (quinion gathering). Margins contain: few correction notes. Completion of sentences in the margins. Consistent use of catchwords. The copyist kept the visualization of the Uygur letters in f.204b, and the chess board visualization in which the names of the chess pieces are written in black and green (f.199a). The Catch-title is written on the edges of the work.
