Brown leather with central motif decoration of small Shamash. The inside of the covers are brown leather as well, and there are two pink papers glued between the covers and the first and last folios of the codex.
Manuscript description
The title is written in red in descending triangle shape (f.1a). Papers are harmed by bookworms but they are still mostly legibly. Quire gathering: mostly quinion. Margins contain: Mostly correction notes. Many folios or part of them (e.g. half of the folios f.212b, f.216b, and f.120b and the entire folios f.213a, f.120b, and f.121a-f.122a are empty). In f.120a the copyist notes before the blank part “in here, the words of al-Jamālī Yūsuf has ended”. Catch-title is written on the edges of the work.
