Brown leather with full-cover themed decoration excuted by small tools of a golden turanj and two pendants with vegetal decoration, frame, and corner-pieces. The inside of the cover is blue fabric attached to the first paper of the codex by brown leather.
Manuscript description
Clean margins. The Catch-title is written on the edges of the work. The folio f.1a has well-illuminated titelpiece executed in gold, green, luminous orange, red, and blue (mix of vegetal and geometric shapes) which has the title of the book written on the upper part, and the author’s name written on the lower part. There is also a central rosette inside a medallion in it which contains the following ex-libris inscription
برسم المقر الاشرفي الكريمي العالي الاميري السيفي يشبك امير داودار كبير حفظه الله.
The folio f.2a has the waqf statement of Sayf al-Dīn Yashbak
الحمد لله وقف و حبس و سبل المقر الأشرفي السيفي تغري بردي القادري (...) استادار العالم جميع هذا الجزء و هو الأول من السلوك و الذي بعده على طلبة العلم الشريف و جعل مقره بخزانة الكتب الكاينة بتربة المقر المرحوم السيفي يشبك (......) ...و شرط الا يخرج منها (...) و شهد بتاريخ شهر رجب الفرد سنة أربع و تسعين و ثمان ماية... عليه بذلك ابراهيم بن ؟؟ المقري

The folio f.2a has the stamp of “Hamayun Khane Khizana?”. Stamps (of Sultan Ahmet) (f.1a, f.893b). TKSM stamp (f.1a). An added flyleaf at the beginning of the work contains: TKSM stamp on f.1a; old TKSM (in Arabic), and an ownership statement of ʿUthmān Mīr written in Ottoman Turkish. There is an Unclear stamp of (Sultan Selim?).
