Manuscript description
Info is obtained from the Library of Nuruosmaniye's catalog, the Sulaymaniyya's database (on-site), and a digitized colored copy of the manuscript. The folio f.1b has a headpiece that is decorated with golden copulas (mihrabiye).ٍ several corrections and highlightings of the names discussed in the main text (sometimes in blue ink while mostly in orange and black). The text area is framed by a gold line throughout the manuscript. Partially vocalized. There is a poetry on f.1a. There is a riddle written on f.iia that was sent to al-Shaykh Muḥammad al-Jād? (محمد الجاد؟) in Sidon in 1029 AH. There is a note on f.iia that says that they visited the Emir Sandar? (or possibly Bandar?) in ʿĀlih al-Shaḥār (عاليه الشحار) in moder-day Lebanon in 8 Jumādā al-Awwal 1029 AH.
