Manuscript description
Info obtained from the Library of Fatih catalog, the Sulaymaniyya's database (on-site), and a digitized colored copy of the manuscript. Well illuminated. The folio f.1a has an illuminated rectangular panel executed in gold, green, brown, and blue which has an upper cartouche that contains the title of the book, and a central rosette (surrounded by four small medallions) that contains the author’s name. There is a golden medallion next to the upper left side of the rectangular panel. The main text ends on f.252b. The following folios have a continuation about Amīr al-Gharb in Beirut, al-Amīr Nāṣir al-Dīn b. al-Ḥusayn, and Akhbār al-Yaman.Several comments denoted by the letter (ح) and few correction notes. The topics discussed in this volume are listed in an added (original) folio before the work. Sometimes the main text is completed in the margins. The call number 4501 is written on Indo-Arabic numbers on f.1a, while it is 4500 in English numbers.
