Manuscript description
Info obtained from the Library of Fatih's catalog, the Sulaymaniyya's database (on-site), and a digitized colored copy of the manuscript. Ornate and Unique Frontispiece. The folio f.1a has an illuminated rectangular panel executed in gold, blue, red, green, and brown which has an upper cartouche that contains the title of the book, a central piece contains the author’s name, and a lower cartouche which has the library’s name of Yashbak al-Dawadār al-Ashrafī al-Sayfī. The central piece is on a shape of a star formed from two recatngles which bears the ex-libris of the library in the center and surrounded by the Throne Verse (أية الكرسي) from the Quran. There are two medallions on the left side of the illuminated rectangular. Clear and fully vocalized handwriting. Sometimes, the main text is completed in the margins.

Waqf statement of Taghrībirdī al-Qādirī who endowed this book for the library of his graveyard(ليشهد على ال؟ المقر الأشرفي السيفي تغري بردي القادري انه وقف و حبس و جميع هذا الجزء و هو الحادي عشر من السلوك و ما قبله وما بعده على طلبة العلم الشريف و جعل مقره بخزانة الكتب الكاينة بتربة المقر المرحوم السيفي يشبك (......) ...و شرط الا يخرج منها (...) و شهد بتاريخ شهر الله المحرم الحرام سنة احدى؟ عشرة وتسعماية؟ ) (f.1b).
