Manuscript description
Excerpts with a Latin translation transcribed by J. Gagnier from MS. Pococke 394 and MS. Marsh 149. Part of a collection (all written by Gagnier) followed by Tuḥfat al-mulūk of Ibn Zunbul; Nuzhat al-mushtāq fī ikhtirāq al-āfāq of al-Idrīsī; and Muʻjam al-buldān of Yāqūt al-Ḥamawī. The right side of the paper contains the Arabic text, while the left side contains its Latin translation. There are several spelling mistakes in the Arabic text. Several notes in the margins. Several empty pages. There is an index of the city names at the end of this part.
