There are 3 added European papers before the title page (Watermarked C ''a draw of a star'' D). The author's name is mistakenly written on one of them (i.e. al-Maqrīrī) and someone corrected the name beneath it. The title of the book on these added papers is ''Al-Juzʾ al-Thānī Fawāyid Gharība wa-Tawārīkh wa-Nukat wa-Akhbār ʿAjība li-Miṣr al-Musammā bi-l-Khiṭaṭ''. Margins contain: very few correction notes and commentary notes. Sometimes, the sentences in the main text are completed in the margins. Some places were left blank. The emblem of Bruce of Kinnaird (Jmaes Bruce) is painted on a paper which is glued into the inside of the lower cover. A note says ''Collated 31.7.69'' at the end of the book. The sides of the papers of the manuscript are painted in red.
