Manuscript description
Many notes in the margins most of them are reproductions of the author's notes. This part of volume 3 starts with ''Dikhr Qalʿat al-Jabal'' and ends on P. 58 followed by a long note which the copyist found on the margins of the authors copy about the death dates of Mamluk Sultans from al-ʿAzīz Yūsuf till Qānṣūh al-Ghawrī. Volume 4 ends on p.420 after which there are two pages bearing information about ''al-Ifrinja'' the Zaydi Imam al-Hādī b. al-Ḥusayn al-Zāhid. These two pages were announced by ''wujida bi-khaṭṭ al-muṣannif raḥima-hu Allah mā naṣṣi-hi'', then he stressed that those pages were found as separate sheets. According to Witkam's catalog: Or.372 b and c are written by the copyist who is different than the copyist of or. 371 (which completes the set).
