Manuscript description
Few correction notes and comments. Many pages are damaged (or affected) by water stains especially at the beginning of the manuscript. There is an index of the contents of the work (f.1a-f.6a). The folio f.6b contains a short biography of the author copied from al-Sakhāwī's work ''al-Sulūk''. Partly wiped-out reading note of (...) Sayyid Muḥammad Qāḍī Miṣr al-Maḥrūsa.

Owned by ''Quṭb b. ʿAlāʾ'' in Mecca in the year of 960AH (might be Quṭb al-Dīn b. ʿAlāʾ al-Dīn al-Nahrwānī al-Ḥanafī al-Makkī d.988 AH). Quṭb b. ʿAlāʾ states that he either wrote it himself or asked someone to write it for him (i.e. Malakahu istiktāban). Levini Warneri Collection (Ex Legato Viri Ampliff. Levini Warneri). There is a red wax seal (f.1a).
