Manuscript description
The first page has the title (which someone crossed over it) ''Qiṭʿa min Tārīkh Yataʿallaq bi-Akhdh al-Firinja lil-Shām wa-mā Ḥawalahā''. There is a more modern title on the inner cover of the book: ''Risāla fī Aḥkām Qaryat Tamīm al-Dārī wa-Ḥukm Iqṭāʿāt al-Nabī lahu Qarya min-al-Shām''. There are some comments in the margins throughout the manuscript but not very extensive. The copyist ʿAlī b. Muḥammad al-Mallāḥ mentiones that this is the fourth time he has copied this book. Al-Mallāḥ also has copied a fifth copy of the book which is currently kept on the BNF library in Paris under call number Ms. Arabe 4657.
