Manuscript description
Clear miṣṭara. Partially vocalized. Several commentary and correction notes. Completion of the main text in the margins. The topics discussed in the main text are highlighted in the margins (in red ink which is different than the one used in the main text). Several notes by the copyist citing other works of the author and other scholars such as: Muʿjam (f. 147b), Ḥawādith al-sunna (f. 166a), Durar ʿalā l-turāṯ (f. 88b), Taʾrīẖ and to Ṭabaqāt by Ibn Qāḍī Shuhba (f. 101a, f.200a); Ibn Duqmāq (f. 107b) and Burhān al-Ḥalabī (f. 181v). There are also notes from the copyist indicating the biographies of the fathers of his masters (f. 18b, f.156a). The first flyleaf has the date: 17 January 1873 written in Latin.
