Inbāʾ al-Ghumr bi-Anbāʾ al-ʿUmr

Covers the period 773-811 AH. Clear miṣṭara. Several commentary and correction notes. Completion of the main text in the margins. The topics discussed in the main text are highlighted in the margins. Punctuation of the ''nūn letters'' are stylized (circle with red or black center point highlighted in red). Frontispiece: frame 185 x 115 mm, consisting of a gold band and black and blue nets; upper band with cartouche containing the volume number and title of the book; lower banner with cartouche containing the name of the author; polylobed central medallion bordered with a blue flowered net containing the name of the library of the owner (al-Amīr al-Kabīr Fakhrī ??). There is a short biography of the author on f.i and f.145a. And there are several notes which state that this work is the “Dhayl” of the history of Ibn Kathīr and the Wafayāt of Taqī al-Dīn [al-Maqrīzī] (f.iia). The number 1200 is written on f.iia which might be its price. The first folio has the date: 17 January 1873 written in Latin.
