Shifāʾ al-Gharām bi-Akhbār al-Balad al-Ḥarām

Manuscript status: there are water stains and holes made by bookworms. The book starts with quite unusual Basmalah “i.e. Bism allāh al-raḥmān al-raḥīm wa-huwa ḥay”. The folios are numbered in Farsi and Arabic numbers. Completion of the main text in the margins. Nor extensive use of the margins which includes commentary and correction notes, and announcements about the topic/names discussed in the main text. The copyist says in the colophon that he has copied this manuscript from another one which he copied in the author's home in Mecca from the author's personal copy. However, there is a note [in f. 320] which seems to question/wonder if this was copied from the author's personal copy as it contains many linguistic or grammatical errors.
