Manuscript description
F.16a has a very elaborately executed title page in gold, black, and red, with the catch-title written on the top cartouche (on the top the frame) and a central piece bearing the author’s name. F.15b has an ornate blank title-piece with floral decoration. several commentary and correction notes (but not very extensive), and indexing of names and other contents (in few instances). F.2-f.14 contain an index written in red squares. f.2a contains a quotation from Ibn Iyās's work about and designation of the judge Badr al-Dīn Muḥammad b. Muzhir in the position of niyābat al-Sirr (f.2a). There is an invocation against worms and insects ''Yā Kabīkaj Yā Ḥafīẓ'' on f.1a.
