Covering (831-844 AH). Naskh script. Black ink with red rubrication and overlining. Red dots at the end of some sentences and inverted commas around poetry hemistichs. Writing Surface 215x130 mm. Several correction notes and commentary notes in the margins. Sometimes, the sentences in the main text are completed in the margins. Oriental papers. Colophon of: ʿAlī Abū Bakr al-Marzūqī in (8?? AH). Ownership statements of: ʿAbd al-Raḥīm (naqīb al-sāda al-ashrāf) in the city of Tripoli in al-Shām (f.1a); Yāsīn (kātib ... al-awqāf). There is a note about the plague on f.1a. Several reading notes of: Abū Bakr al-Nabulsī; Maḥmūd Muḥammad al-Sibāʿī, (...) al-ʿUmarī (the Imam of the ʿUmarī mosque in Qalʿat Ḥalab) (f.140b). There is an invocation against worms and insects "Yā Kabīkaj" on f.1a. A note states: "Collated 31.7.69" on an added paper at the end of the book. Binding: Brown decorated leather.
