GAL II 29 [UAM. UAM. 717]
Naskh script. Black ink (Titles and keywords are rubricated in red and sometimes in green). Red dots and inverted commas around poetry hemistichs, and red dots to denote saj. Writing Surface (mostly) 209x130 mm (some pages are framed by two red lines). Unwatermarked Oriental papers (some papers are darker). Very extensive use of the margins: comments and correction notes. Most of the letters in the manuscript are vocalized. The copyist kept the visualizations of the chess board and the Uyghur alphabet which are omitted in some of the copies of the work. Colophon of ʿAbd al-Qādir b. ʿUmar b. Abī Bakr al-Maṣrī al-Shāfiʿī. No ownership statements. Several Poetry verses (f.1a). There is a note about the death date and place of the author (f.162b). There is a note says "Collated 27.6.68" at the end of the book. Modern binding.
