Manuscript description
Very extensive use of the Margins which contain: few correction notes and Several commentary notes and consistent announcement of the topics in the margins throughout the manuscript. Sometimes, the sentences in the main text are completed in the margins. Reading notes of: Muḥammad b. ʿUmar? (f.175a); ʿUmar al-Ḥāj Muḥammad (f.175a). The first and last folios contain several writings which look quite random (e.g. Poetry (Arabic and Ottoman); a piece of information about that the sky has rained stones and snakes in the month of Ṣafar in Qarmān and Āmid (each stone weighed an Egyptian “raṭl”); A fatwā by (Sirāj al-Dīn al-Balqīnī?) about employing dhimmis in the government and the pact of Umar).
- Ownership Statement
Ownership statements of: Muḥammad (al-Ḥarīrī?) al-Ḥanbalī (f.1a); Yaḥyā (al-Qāḍī al-ʿAsākir?) in Rūmīlī? (f.1a); Aḥmad al-Ḥalabī? (f.1a). There is a note says ''Collated 4.8.69'' on an added paper at the end of the book.
