Manuscript description
Clean copy with very few notes in the margins. Announcements of the topics in the margins (specially in the first half of the manuscript). Ornate title page framed by golden and green lines. The top of the page is decorated with a golden dome and flowers. There are notes at the end of work about the several persons who (re)built the Kaaba. One of these notes quoted a certain Muḥammad b. Sulaymān al-Kurdī. There is a note at the end of the work about a plague that occurred in Bandar Jiddah in 1230 AH, copied from the notes of a certain Shaykh Muḥammad b. ʿUmar (baghlaf?) al-Ḥaḍramī which generally states that: it is an unprecedented plague since the last one before it happened in 880 AH; almost 8000 people died; at many instants, entire families died to the extent that they did not manage to find any heirs.
