Manuscript description
Very small typescript in relatively large format book. The misṭara has been prepared for marginal ḥashiyya on the first folio’s, but it has not been used. Margins contain: lexical notes (f.2b, f.38a-f.38b), correction notes, and completions of lines. The manuscript is missing the Uyghur alphabet and the chessboard layout found in most other manuscripts of this text.

The manuscript was copied in Calcutta (Bandar Kulkata) between 1 Shawwāl 1232 and 25 Muḥarram 1233 / August 14-December 5 1817, and was either copied or paid for (aʿtanā bi-ṭabʿi-hi) by Aḥmad b. Muḥammad ʿAlī al-Afṣārī al-Mubannī al-Shirīrāʾī (reading of last two parts of the name uncertain).
