Manuscript description
Poetry marked with triangles of black dots. margins contain: corrections in pencil, and references to other historical works (6b to Ibn Khaldūn, 30a and 91b to “Ṣubḥ al-aʿshā”). This manuscript is made on the basis of a manuscript dated to Rajab 3 1113 / December 13 1701 (itself copied by Muḥammad b. ʿAbdallāh ʿAfāf al-Madanī). A later, heavily “corrected” copy made on the basis of this manuscript is held by the Dār al-Kutub under the call number Tārīkh 4398.
