Manuscript description
Clean copy- very few correction notes. Continuation of the main text in the margins, and many marginal announcements of contents (in many times a commenter writes the moral value of the story under the story's name). The commenter says at (f.49a) that part of this page is not from the original work and has been added by the copyists. There is a poem by a certain Rajab in an empty paper before the title page. There is one sentence of a fiqhi ruling (in an empty page at the end of the work) which says that ''it is permissible to dig the graves of the unbelievers to take their money'' citing a certain book ''Khazānat al-Fatāwā''. There is an added part at the end of the work (f.233a-f.235a) which the copyist says he found it in the original manuscript, describe a mufākhara between pomegranate seeds and rice on a table before they got eaten. There are citations from the books of ''Sukurdān al-Sulṭān'' and ''Qawāʿid al-Zarakashī'' about the various measures of distance (f.235b). There is a poem by al-Shāfiʿī and Shihāb al-Dīn ʿAbd al-Ḥaq (about the importance of knowledge) (f.235a) and there is a poem(f.1a) which broadly says that ignorance is a blessing:
