Manuscript description
Two separate manuscripts digitized in one pdf file. A lot of empty spaces in the pages and on page f.281b the script states that he left this place blank because it was left blank in the work which he is copying. The end of volume 1 at f. 289b. Very few notes in the margins of volume 2. There is only one long note on f.41a. Starting from f.41b the book is written with different handwriting probably by the same script who wrote the first volume. Folio f.267b is not complete. There is a poetry in the margins of the folio f.141a where al-Maqrizi describes how the Christian scribes became extravagantly wealthy which says:
اذا حكم النصارى في الفروج و عالو في البغال و السروج.
