Rawḍat al-Manāẓir fī ʿIlm al-Awāʾil wa-l-Awākhir

Naskh script. Black ink with red overlining. Titles and Keywords are rubricated in Red. Red dots and inverted commas to mark poetry and sajʿ. Writing Surface 165x100 mm (framed by two red lines). Folios from 107a-116b are not framed by red lines but are still written within the Misṭara. European papers but there is no discernible watermark. Very clean copy. Clean margins except very few anouncements of the topics in red and corrections in Black. Some passages are underlined probably by a modern reader. There is a brief biography of the author and brief discription of the orgnization of the book by a later hand on the manuscript’s flyleaf. It is written under the title that the book discusses the period from the creation of the world till the year 806 AH. Colophon of ʿAbd-Rabbihi b. Muḥammad b. Aḥmad b. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. ʿAlī al-Shaʿrānī (or al-Shawwānī?) al-Anṣā󠄫rī in (3 Ṣafar 992 AH). The copyist mistakenly wrote the month of Ṣafar as follows "سفر". There are two stamps on f.1a and f.128b (a black one of the Vatican Library and red one of the "Nationale Bibliotheque"). Latin Writings on f.1a and on an attached leaf. Modern Binding.
