Manuscript description
Very few correction notes. Ornate (but slightly damaged) title page executed in gold and has an upper cartouche which contains the book's title and a central piece that has the author's name. Several Poetry verses are written on f.219a-f.220b (while the work ends on f.218b). There is a modern paper from SOAS attached at the beginning of the book which contains some comments about the manuscript. There are some folios attached at the end of the book which contain an article from Journal Asiatique (issue of December 1858) which discusses Kitāb al-Sulūk (written by M. G. De S.). There is a brief (modern) table of contents at the beginning of the book.
- Ownership Statement
Several unclear ownership statements (f.1a). f.219a has the stamp of a certain ʿAbdullah b. Ḥassan f.2018b has the Stamp of Samuel Barrett Miles ''S.B Miles''. Also, there is Note on added folio at the end of the book says '' by Col. S. B. Miles in 4 Aug. 1885''.
