Manuscript description
Margins contain: very few correction notes and commentary notes. The first 15 pages are stained. The first paper is from another work of the author discussing the tribes of Ethiopia. Reading note says:
قرأ هذا الكناب الأمير اسماعيل أغا خزمدار مصطفى جاويش القاطين؟ في خط تبد؟ قانين؟ بحوش عيسى في شهر ذو القعدة سنة 1195 و قره فاتحة الى كاتب هذا الكتاب و صاحبه''.
- Ownership Statement
There is a note on p.2 written by al-Sayyed al-Ḥāj Ḥasan al-ʿAṭṭār (bi-Khaṭ qasyūn?) Ibn al-marḥūm al-Sayyed al-Ḥāj (…?) 27 Shaʿbān 1191. Note typed on added paper at the end of the book says: ''Purchased of the executors of the REVD WM Cureton D. D. AUG 1864''.
