Manuscript description
Ornate headpiece excuted in gold and blue contains the book's title and basmala. Some papers are stained. Margins contain: several correction notes, several commentary notes throughout the manuscript, announcements of the topics discussed in the main text. There is a long note on f.40a about the Ottoman Sultans: Sulaymān, Muḥammad II (and his sons the Sultans Bayazīd and Selīm). There is a long note on f.1a about the death of Muḥammad, the king of Maghrib (Sunday 25th of Rajab 1304), and that the news about his death reached them 11 days after his death date (and someone hid this news for two days). The note continues by saying that in the same year the Khalifa of the Wast and West ʿAbd al-Ḥamīd has died (raḥimahu allāh) and three of the Christian kings died as well (laʿanahum allāh). There is an invocation against bookworms f.2a, f.1a
