F.1a has an illuminted frontispiece which has an upper cartouche which contains the title of the book, and a medallion which contains the author’s name. Margins contain: correction notes, several commentary notes, and announcements of the topics discussed in the main text. Sometimes, the sentences in the main text are completed in the margins. Consistent use of catchwords. Oriental papers (some folios are darker and the black ink on them is totally illegible probably due to the effect of the metallic ink) .
