Manuscript description
The folio f.307b has a beautiful visualization of poetry which drawn in a shape of a flower where letter Ḥ is in the center (as each verse starts with it), and the rest of the verses are written on a circular shape on the petals
The folios f.308a and f.308b have a text which the copyist claim that it is a letter sent by the Muslims of al-Andalus to the Sultan al-Malik al-Ẓahir Qanṣūh, complaining about the injustices of the King of Qashtālah, and his torture of the Muslims . Writing Surface is not fixed (sometimes the copyist writes the text vertically and horizontally). There are some folios from other works attached to the codex which are written on newer papers (whiter with clear chain lines). Very extensive use of the margins which contain: several commentary and correction notes. Completion of sentences in the margin, and highlighting the names of persons and the topics discussed in the text. Several passages are left blank. There is a note on f.1b which says that this work is part of a majmūʿ contains poetry, stories, akhbār, and historiographical works. Some of the folios are indeed from other works like (f.86-f.95) but they are no longer organized. The first folio (f.1a) and flyleaf have several poetry verses which might be quoted from the old majmūʿ. The title of the book is written by a different hand on the margins of f.1b.
