Manuscript description
Almost clean margins contain: very few commentary and correction notes, and (sometimes) the names of the ruler discussed in the text. Completion of sentences in the margins. The main text ends on f.160b while contains a list of the rulers of Egypt mentioned in this volume of the book (f.261a). The mistara is clear throughout the manuscript. Papers are slightly trimmed. The folios f.1a has an illuminated rectangular panel executed in gold, red, (degrees of) brown, and blue which has an upper rectangular that contains the catch-title of the book, a central rosette which has the rest of the title and the author’s name written in not decorated black ink (unlike the upper cartouche). The Kurras number is written on the top left side of the recto side (quinion gathering).
