Crimson leather with a full-cover themed decoration (stamped turanj and two pendants, and stamped center-pieces painted in gold with vegetal themed crimson decoration) , and decorated envelope flap tucked under the upper cover. The inside of the covers are crimson leather and stamped with a turanj as well.
Manuscript description
The folio f.1a has an illuminated rectangular panel executed in gold, brown, green, light-blue, luminous orange, and dark blue which has an upper cartouche that contains the title of the book, and a central rosette (surrounded by four center-pieces) which contains the author’s name. There is roundel to the left of the titelpiece, and light-blue and gold decoration above it. Margins contain: few correction notes; few commentary notes, and announcements of the topics discussed in the main text. Sometimes, the sentences in the main text are completed in the margins. The name Ḥasan Pasha is written on an unnumbered folio at the beginning of the codex.
