Dark brown leather decorated by small tools (a central medallion with a draw of a star inside it, pendants, and a frame). The inside of the covers are white papers attached to the last and first folios of the codex by glued white papers.
Manuscript description
The (wrong) title on the Library's catalog is “ʿIqd al-Jumān fī Tārīkh Ahl al-Zamān”. However, as Nobutaka Nakamachi argues in his paper “a Historiographical Analysis of the Four Chronicles Attributed to Badr al-Dīn al-ʿAynī”, it is actually a manuscript of his work “Tārīkh al-Badr”. Margins contain: correction notes. The Catch-title is written on the edges of the work.
