Manuscript description
Info obtained from the Library of Fatih's catalog, the Sulaymaniyya's database (on-site), and a digitized colored copy of the manuscript. The folio f.1a has an illuminated rectangular panel executed in gold, blue, green, and brown which has an upper cartouche that contains the title of the book, a central (turban-like) rosette (surrounded by four small flowers) which contains the author’s name, and a lower cartouche which has the library’s name of Yashbak al-Dawadār al-Ashrafī al-Sayfī. There are two medallions on the left side of the illuminated rectangular. Clean margins.
